We are now looking for a COPYWRITER to join our Digital Content Team, which is part of the Customer Engagement unit. As our fourth digital Copywriter, your task is to make the most out of the interaction with our customers through your copywriting in our digital touchpoints, like newsletters and websites. Your core area of responsibility will be planning and writing copy texts for newsletters, marketing and sales projects and other marketing automation purposes. In this position, you’ll work seamlessly with Content Specialists, Content Designers, Marketing Automation Developers and Marketing, Communication and Product Management teams. The Copywriter reports to the Content Production Lead, who oversees the creation and publication of digital content. Main responsibilities: Planning, writing, producing and publishing user-friendly, translation-friendly, engaging, tactical and informative content for Finnair’s digital touchpoints, such as website, newsletters and marketing automation, in English and Finnish Translating copy texts from English to Finnish Implementing our brand’s tone of voice across the copy texts in your area of responsibility Using content management systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CoreMedia to plan, produce and publish the content Coordinating the translation workflow together with the translation agency Following the customer insights to plan and execute content strategies, development and testing Utilizing AI, writing assistant and terminology management as part of your writing process Collaborating with multiple teams that include writers’ community, content teams, marketing and sales, brand, developers and analysts Using analytics tools, O365 working tools and project management tools like Jira Our expectations: Experience, at least 3 years, in copywriting in digital channels Experience in working with content management systems Excellent writing and verbal skills in Finnish and English Interest in adapting the iconic Finnair brand to the global markets with millions of monthly encounters Knowledge of marketing automation Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) and using web analytics tools Studies in a relevant field, for example, marketing, communications, linguistics or journalism; Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree strong self-leadership and prioritisation skills ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and changes Seen as an advantage: Experience in copywriting in Swedish Experience in working with digital services, digital marketing or e-commerce Experience in using CoreMedia Experience in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience in using AI in copywriting Working at Finnair: We offer you an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-changing aviation and international travel industry in a culture that drives and enables professional development and continuous improvement.
