The Role: Senior Electrical Engineer
Are you ready to lead the charge in engineering excellence? We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and waterfront engineering support for both onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities. This pivotal role requires holding Level 3 Engineering Authority, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on cutting-edge projects and in-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Waterfront electrical engineering support for onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities.
Ensure design compliance with technical requirements, cost, and schedule.
Attain Design Authority signatory status and Chartered status from Engineers Australia
Develop engineering task plans including staffing, cost, schedule and material requirements.
Work along with broad range of stakeholders to ensure project and task success.
Monitor and ensure quality and system safety requirements are met.
Your Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in Electrical Systems design and support.
Proficiency in CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) and technical writing.
Strong analytical skills and safety/risk management knowledge.
Strong technical skills and broad exposure to technical issues
Experience in HV/LV electrical infrastructure, repair, and/or maintenance and knowledge of Navy ship systems
