Functional Description:
- Develops, directs, plans and analyzes financial standing, programs and procedures. Assists FP&A lead in meeting various financial metrics and FPA analysis.
Discipline Description:
- Manages the financial planning and direction of accounting activities, including the maintenance of the ledger accounts and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs financial planning and analysis, performs month-end activities for MRO Lenexa.
- Prepares Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Financial Planning (SFP).
- Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects and ensure accuracy of the accounting entries.
- Performs accounts reconciliation based on financial data, Balance Sheet reviews and Fixed Asset reporting.
- Performs headcount reconciliation.
- Performs manufacturing integrity reporting.
- Performs ad hoc and other reporting duties as needed.
- Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is as per standard defined.
- Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of 4-year business course preferably BS Accountancy, Management Accounting.
- With at least 3 or more years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Knowledgeable in Hyperion Financial management or OneStream.
- Works in a company with manufacturing set-up.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
