Join our Rolls-Royce Business as VP – Procurement Excellence. In this role you will be responsible for leading the Procurement Excellence team, including the Procurement Systems & Data team, with the aim of delivering class-leading, digitally enabled ways of working across all source to contract activity, governance and decision-making. The role will lead a team who will look to consistently develop innovative solutions to drive efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, financial savings and supplier performance through the way we operate, enabling delivery of all key targets across the 5Y. You will be a key leader and influencer of change across the Procurement function and wider business as a whole. In this role, you will travel both domestically and internationally up to 10%

Key Accountabilities:
- Setting the framework and standards for Procurement strategy, negotiations, contracting and supplier management for the Group
- Benchmarking functional performance and capability against ‘world class’ standards to drive continuous improvement
- Owning the systems, data and digital strategy and delivery for the Procurement function, leveraging the relevant technology to deliver actionable insights to the rest of the function
- Ensuring all standards are consistently deployed into each division and governance is routinely and rigorously followed
- Defining, developing and where appropriate delivering a robust functional capability framework and associated training & learning offerings
- Developing and managing the Procurement Capability and Talent Pipeline
- Ownership of internal and external functional communications and engagement
- Drive Compliance to Operating model and standards
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree with 10+ years of procurement experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of procurement experience, OR
- Master’s degree with 6+ years of procurement experience, OR
- JD/PhD with 3+ years of procurement experience, OR
- 12+ years of procurement experience in lieu of a degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
- Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
- Experience leading teams, influencing and building relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proven delivery of managing change programs, embedding core standards and new ways of working
- Depth of knowledge and experience in procurement roles and working practices
- Program management skills and experience
