For our location in Sofia we are looking for а skillful and motivated Java Developer.
In This Role, You’ll
- Develop software according to Amadeus Standards.
- Attend and contribute to development meetings.
- Learn the codebase and improve coding skills.
- Analyze user needs and define requirements for development.
- Perform feasibility studies.
- Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management.
- Design and write high quality code, according to Amadeus quality gates.
- Support maintaining of the existing solution.
- Model, design and implement databases as necessary.
- Conducting unit and functional tests.
- Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle.
- Produce software documentation necessary.
- Adopt Agile Mindset.
Soft Skills

Technical Experience
- 3+ years of experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Coding skills in Java 8 and above, Java version 11 is a plus.
- Experience in development of web-based client-server applications (JSP, Java Servlets, JDBC, DHTML, CSS2, TypeScript and/or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of XML and XML related technologies ( XSL, XPath, XSD, DTD, SOAP, WSDL).
- Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of OAS, REST API, JSON and/or YAML is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Unit Testing.
