- 3+ years’ experience in application development.
- Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint, C#, F# and visual basic programming languages.
- The Candidate’s objective is to build, repair, expand and consolidate .Net applications for aftermarket technical team.
- This is to further develop and optimize existing software tools to enable our Engineering Teams to more effectively and efficiently serve our customers, providing solutions that deliver compelling value and unparalleled performance.
- SSO engineering is currently utilizing multiple different tools some of which have bugs or not fully developed.
- These tools are purposed to document investigations, communicate service requests from customers, release technical publications and track quality corrective actions.
- The tools and process established have proven to be good method of logging and tracking data essential for the engineers to stay on top of the investigations as well as sharing data and prioritizing investigations with cross functional teams.
- Many of these tools are now embedded into daily activities and referenced to in Engineering Management procedures (EMs) which are auditable under AS9100.
- A need to support various teams under the SSO technical team: Customer Support Engineering team, Technical Publications team, Quality team and Field Service Engineer team.
- Bringing in a computer science contractor who has experience in software development from ground-up who is focused on the SSO engineering tools is ideal at this juncture.
- The concept would be to have the contractor migrate the existing SSO engineering tools to more stable environment while coordinating with IT on the larger picture.
- This will also alleviate the SSO IT team to focus on supporting the repair station due to bandwidth.
Pay rate: $70+ DOE
