Job Description Summary The RISE Open Fan Operations Leader will be responsible for program management and engineering execution across GE Aerospace’s suite of technologies being matured as part of the RISE Open Fan program. The role reports to the Strategic Operations Leader within the GE Aerospace Advanced Technologies / Future of Flight Organization. The role is essential towards maturing foundational aerospace technologies that will support realizing the aviation industry’s sustainability goals in the first half of the 21st century.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the RISE Open Fan Operations Leader, you will:
- Collaborate with a global engineering team to plan and evaluate program operations across a diverse range of technology development projects
- Own the consolidation and communication of program management deliverables (schedule, budget, forecasts, actuals, …) with a keen attention to detail and ability to look at complex data through a diversity of lenses
- Effectively lead operational cadences within a tiered structure; facilitate problem solving and action planning at an appropriate level for the forum
- Lead change management forums and quickly draw connections in terms of downstream impacts of change
- Participate in risk management activities and proactively identify non-technical risk
- Become an expert in GE’s core program management tools including, but not limited to: Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft Excel, and Spotfire
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less program management experience
- Develop and maintain a strong network across GE Aerospace, global sites, and affiliate businesses
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement across GE Aerospace's operational practices; seek standardization where appropriate and
- Present results to internal (GE) and external (customer, agency, government, …) customers
Additionally, you will be responsible to continually grow yourself, personally and professionally, through training opportunities, mentorship, and formal career path definition.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university with at least 5 years experience in the field of electrical power systems
