Position’s Summary
About Workshop Fitter/ Fabricator Technician (m/f)
They will work with the customer on site. The amount of people you will work with will vary depending on the project/ task you are working on. The projects will include but not limited to the wing test activities on the strong floor. Workload can vary significantly and we have limited visibility of future projects so you will need to be dynamic.
Your Tasks
Crane lifting
Test frame fitting
Preparation of test samples
Modification of components & items
Machining
Ensuring Work is conducted in accordance with specifications, quality standards and internal SOP’s
Maintain obtained skills and certifications and acquire new ones
Work on requirements provided by management whenever called upon
Management of projects including time calculating, communicating with managers and end-customer facing
Fabrication of test frames and test equipment
What we look for
Experience within a machine shop/ workshop is key
Experience working at height and confined spaces
Experience with a wide range of tooling techniques
Experience with fabrication of test frames and test equipment
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Independent and structured way of working
Ability to work in a team, resilience, flexibility

Salary: circu £37,000 - £44,000 dependant on experience
