We are now looking for BUSINESS MANAGER, Finnair Cargo to strengthen our Cargo Revenue Management & Pricing (RMP) team. In this role you will manage cargo demand and pricing structures in your area to maximize the network revenue. You will deliver revenue, market, and competitor analysis steering sales to meet revenue targets. You will also contribute to cargo product offering development to meet customer demand and revenue targets. As Business Manager, you will offer your insights to improve business profitability by suggesting strategic partnership developments and steer network capacity by managing Special Prorate Agreements and block space arrangements. To be successful in this position, you do not necessarily need to have a strong revenue management and pricing background yet. We are looking for a business-minded person with enthusiasm to use one’s analytical skills to work on complex business challenges. Main responsibilities: Managing POS/OD Demand Forecast Ensuring price competitiveness in appointed area of responsibility Validating pricing and monitoring competitive environment and competitor pricing Defining commercial framework for Cargo products and ensuring product offering competitiveness Maximizing revenue by guiding sales with the use of data and comprehensive analysis of appointed area of responsibility Following up KPIs and suggesting corrective actions Managing SPA's, soft & hard block arrangements Continuous development of pricing structures Communicating the Cargo Product attributes internally & externally Exploring possibilities for various ways of co-operation Developing processes and tools for Revenue Management, network steering, capacity optimization and overall business steering Our expectations: Strong business mindset with solid analytical skills Good overall business and industry understanding Development minded approach to complex business challenges Advanced Excel skills Ability to analyze and integrate detailed numerical information from various sources and clearly communicate their implications to business Understanding the impact of fares and fare rules to demand (price elasticity) and topline revenue Strong teamwork and negotiation skills Ability to make decisions independently, prioritize and organize one’s workload Master's degree or equivalent from a relevant field for this position (such as Econ. / Tech.)
