For this reason we are looking for experienced Thales Systems Engineers who want to be part of these exciting projects.
As a systems engineer in the Customer Technical Office for the F126 project you will work in a dynamic environment managing Internal and External stakeholder expectations. You will work towards building good customer relations and act timely, responsibly and in the desired quality on assigned tasks. You will adopt a customer focus approach, to understand requirements, customer needs and set priorities. Being a member of CTO means that you bring the voice of customer to the internal organisation and you represent TNL on external discussions. As an integral part of the organization, Customer Technical Office works closely and in collaboration with the external and internal project management and the program management.
You will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
Action Item Monitoring
- Monitor and Tracking of Action Items assigned to Thales
- Participate on Sprint Meetings with the Software Development Team
- Collect KPIs to show progress and bottlenecks on the action resolution
- Facilitate discussions over action points with the customer
- Support the technical teams and ensure that actions are understood and executed by the responsible party timely
- Retain and report a top-level overview of critical action items to the Project Management
Workshop
- Support the coordination and planning of workshops with customer and main contractor
- Monitor Workshop-Overview regarding topicality
- Communicate with internal stakeholders for upcoming events
GFx/CFx-Management (Administrative Work)
- Monitor incoming deliveries
- Initiate Intake Assessments
- Monitor Intake Assessment in Progress and send reminders
- Prepare responses towards the customer
- Update Internal Dashboard accordingly
- Fill in several KPIs/Reports manually, where ever its needed in the project
- Participate at Management Boards
PM Team activities
- You will be assigned ad – hoc project management tasks and you will be responsible for the coordination, allocation and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the internal project management, engineering delivery management and engineering organisation bringing critical topics to the external project management and the customer.
- Apply project management mindset, using visual tools and participate in improvements of processes.
Your Profile:
- Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering or similar field;
- Generalist, with a broad interest in technology;
- Communication skills and able to work in multidisciplinary teams;
- High level of creativity, initiative, pragmatism and persuasiveness;
- 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering
- You have a demonstrable experience with projects of complex systems preferably in the naval domain
- Familiarity with system engineering processes and methodologies such as V-model, Agile;
- Affinity with project management; knowledge of PM tools and PM Certification (IPMA C or D, PMP) will be appreciated
- Fluency in spoken and written English C1 (German B2/C1 is a plus)
- Flexibility with respect to travelling abroad and being part of an international environment.
