Your responsibilities
- Support the EHS Leader in monitoring the application and compliance of Health and Safety policies, and to support with external agencies.
- Support the operations teams with proactive safety initiatives and campaigns within departments or value streams and also in the investigation regarding any near misses or injuries.
- Support the upkeep of all Parker online reporting tools and systems to ensure correct safety data and statistics are available for the location.
- Support the delivery of skills training within the division focused on EHS & Welfare at Work.
- Ensure that appropriate PPE is adopted for specific activities against the risk assessment and that stock is available and controlled in a cost-effective manner.
- Work with line managers to ensure they undertake and maintain risk assessments for work areas and activities in order to inform the workforce as to the safe working practices to be followed.
Who we are looking for
- Qualified NEBOSH Certificate or will complete within agreed timescale of starting the role.
- Knowledge and understanding of HSE, ISO45001/14001 standards and requirements.
- IEMA Foundation Certificate or NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or will complete within agreed timescale of starting the role.
- Experience of manufacturing environment including experience of EHS.
- Strong, demonstrable IT skills in order to analyse and present data.
- Experience of risk assessments.
Ideally, you will also have
- Experience of implementing/maintaining ISO Management Systems.
- Experience of building a strong EHS culture.
- Experience of dynamic risk assessments.
