Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all things pertaining to Group Real Estate Portfolio Strategy (Policy, Strategy, Governance, Plans and Lease Management)
- Provide leadership, management and strategic direction for real estate planning, including portfolio management, lease administration, portfolio strategy, performance & optimization and project management liaison
- Governance of real estate portfolio – process creation, management and continuous improvement
- Ensure strategic direction of groups real estate portfolio, transformational targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Strategize, plan and implement Group real estate master plan. Rationalize, plan, consolidate and accommodation to ensure optimal space usage and maximize returns from real estate
- Ensure that space is efficiently deployed and utilized. This included identifying potential alternative use of property assets. Negotiate with relevant government authorities where necessary to enhance the value of the Group’s portfolio. Manage the internal workplace utilization.
- Accountable of all real estate transactions from end to end and ensure the lease records database is kept updated
- Ensure industry best practices are adopted
- Provide regular updates to the department head and relevant key executives on the progress and performance of the real estate portfolio and prevailing projects
- Build relationships with BAs/BUs to facilitate the smooth implementation of real estate strategy plans
- Responsible for internal and external leases for office building
- Sets space standards and workplace guidelines
- Explore sustainability initiatives for Group facilities supporting Group Sustainability Effort
- Explore sustainable best practice to reduce energy and water usage and reduce carbon footprint
- Possess a collaborative approach to motivate, coach and develop team members for high performance
- Able to build and maintain relationships between internal teams
- Able to connect and influence with all tiers within the Group
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Real Estate (preferred), Business Administration or Engineering discipline
- At least 10 years of proven experience in Corporate Real Estate or Facilities Management
