This Stockroom Lead position is vital to maintaining efficient operations and supporting the overall production process. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can contribute positively to our team and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Demonstrate core values of the organization and serve as a role model for stockroom associates.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment among stockroom staff.
- Address basic Tier 1 employee conflicts and escalate to HR or supervisors when necessary.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively (both verbally and through active listening) with operators and management.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs for stockroom associates and arrange for necessary training activities.
- Monitor training progress and maintain the employee-training matrix to ensure compliance.
- Inventory Management:
- Helps to oversee the management of inventory, including the handling of expired materials.
- Works with manager and engineering to establish and maintain backflush locations.
- Works with manager to review Cycle Count Variances and post cycle count results.
- Ensure that all process-related steps are completed with proper verification, including ERP transactions such as inventory adjustments and material issues.
- Workflow Monitoring:
- Monitor workflow within the stockroom and ensure that team members maintain an acceptable level of productivity.
- Maintain tools and hardware, ensuring that all team members have the necessary components and equipment for their tasks.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in the stockroom.
- Ensure adherence to all manufacturing instructions and work instructions (WI) when handling production parts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a stockroom or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement practices.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Person in accordance with ITAR.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation
$22.00-$28.00/hour
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
