About you
As an electronic engineer, you will contribute to developing solutions that enhance the capability of Defence systems and provide critical inputs across Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Safety, and Environmental deliverables. You will be expected to demonstrate strong fault-finding capabilities across multi-disciplinary environments and apply technical expertise in conducting investigations, analysis, and trade studies to assess problems, reduce risks, and identify design improvements. Your ability to work in a remote or deployed location with an understanding of infrastructure, network services and ICT systems will be crucial to ensuring the successful delivery of systems in complex environments.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for subsystem tasks across various project areas. You will involve yourself in contributing to the requirements definition, subsystem design, and systems commissioning processes. If you are a highly motivated engineer with a passional for defence technology and have the skills to drive innovation and improvement in a dynamic, high- stakes environment, we want you!
To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, ideally within a Defence environment
- Relevant degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Excellent technical communication skills- written and verbal
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance, as defined by AGSVA guidelines.
