As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible to:
- Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with the relevant aircraft technical manuals and instructions.
- Carry out routine tasks or checks and rectify defects on the flight line and in the hangar.
- Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards.
- Document and sign off the accomplished work.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on aircraft mechanics
- Competed Cat. A basic training and/or the majority of all modules for a EASA AML B1 or B2 license
- Holding an EASA AML A, B1 and/or B2 license will be considered as an advantage
- Experience in B747-400, B747-8, or B777 aircraft maintenance will be considered as an advantage
- Ideally, between 1 and 3 years’ experience acquired in the field
- Be open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people
- Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage
- Able to work in team as well as independently
- Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook
Working Conditions:
- Permanent full-time position based in Luxembourg.
- Rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night), including weekends and public holidays.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- The position incumbent should possess a valid driving license.
- The category of the position depends on the experience of the selected candidate.
