Job Summary The Burrer Precision is responsible for the set-up and operation of deburring tools and performs methods of inspecting parts to assure conformance to blueprint specifications and manufacturing operator’s instructions. Essential Functions: Set up, tear down, and manipulate rotary and manual hand tools utilizing corresponding documentation Inspect parts to blueprint specifications Notify Team Leader or Supervisor of problems encountered in performing these tasks Understand deburring processes in using right tools towards making parts to blueprint specifications Maintain and adhere to standard safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Any other task assigned by supervisor or management Non-Essential Functions: Continuous improvement activities to improve processes in burring cycle Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 0+ years of experience in working with scopes for precision burring of internal holes and cross sections Knowledge: Knowledge of rotary and manual burring tools; Knowledge of tooling proficient to allow altering if required; Knowledge of various inspection equipment and methods of inspection; Knowledge of deburring tools for different machines Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints; Ability to use alternate tooling or work holding devices if required; Creativity, initiative and the ability to work independently Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
