The Leave of Absence Analyst (DTP 0113) will be responsible for managing the Leave of absence activities and this role will be a customer facing and will receive task via ServiceNow and Workday for USA region.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing leave of absence transactions and requests in HRIS & Payroll system.
- Must have a fair idea of the US Leave of absence process and should have worked as a Leave case worker for two years.
- Champion the cause of Customer centricity with empathy and patience.
- Effectively communicates with employees during and after the leave administration process; resolves employee questions and documents conversations as necessary.
- Processes and administers leave-of-absence requests and paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
- Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences / disabilities.
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and correction of data-related issues.
- Partner with Absence Management Coordinators to create an exceptional employee experience for our employees.
- Identify gaps and process opportunities to drive efficiency and reduce process lead time.
- Understand business unit complexities (nuances) and data impact. This includes how data can impact: pay, benefits, employee experience, etc.
- Coordinate data collection from cross-functional partners where appropriate.
- Utilize the CORE framework of tools to continuously improve processes, quality standards and process compliance.
- Understand and be compliant with the corporate data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Accountable for the day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring clear SLA's and KPI's align to effective and positive employee experience.
Qualifications & Skillset:
- Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in related discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience in US LOA process.
- Strong customer service ethic, communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and telephone etiquette.
- Prior experience in managing complex LOA transactions and data administration preferred.
- Experience managing data in HRIS systems required; experience using Workday preferred.
- Knowledge of US state, local and federal leave laws, disability programs, such as ADA and FMLA.
- High level of attention to detail. Ability to organize work, set priorities, manage multiple projects and lead with professionalism.
- Ability to develop relationships, collaborate and influence others to work effectively with a wide range of employees.
- Flexibility to work in different time zones.
