Machine Operator Associate (LG33)
This labor grade is to train a new machine operator only. Under instruction of a higher classified machine operator or supervisor, in performing a variety of machine operator duties to acquire sufficient skills and ability in the operation of various automation machines with numerical controllers that perform drilling, countersinking, milling, and riveting.

Acquire skills and ability to assure efficient, maximum output, and safe controls of a machine.

Acquire skills and ability to successfully complete a machine start up to include the daily operating checklist of the machine (TPM). Be able to adjust, index, synchronize and perform pre-established operator maintenance on all aspects of the machine system.

Acquire skills and ability to monitor a machine and analyze data to initiate appropriate actions where warranted.

Acquire skills and ability to use floor operating systems, understand drawings and blueprints

Ensure the machine area is always clean and orderly.
