The role
As a Production Planning Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role brings all the different parts of the project lifecycle together and it involves production planning for various projects of varying complexity within the Nuclear industry involving project work going on until at least 2032.
Day-to-day, you’ll always work in a safe and appropriate manner and strive to set the highest personal standards of safety.
- Provide clear and visible tracking of work packages into the facility or about to be launched into work in progress.
- Attend as many as practical daily setting to work meetings to enable you to collate information.
- Attend weekly stakeholder review meetings and fully feedback to stakeholder where we are in the programme and understand future load and maintain a quotes and Project Scope Authorisation (PSA) tracker.
- Produce weekly, monthly sales/delivery forecast.
- Produce works documentation “Job Bags” etc and to liaise with stores on kitting priorities.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based in Leicester.
Essential experience of the Production Planning Engineer:
- Proven experience in production planning/production control.
- Must have familiarity of working with production lifecycles.
- Must have an understand regulatory and statutory requirements of production, manufacturing and commissioning activities.

Security Clearance
