SUMMARY:
The LSI Materials and Production Planner group is seeking to fill a fulltime position with a highly motivated team player.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Evaluates availability of material and capacity in order to establish customer order delivery schedules.
- Analyzes MRP outputs to determine requirements and schedules
- Releases work orders as appropriate
- Liaison between customer service representatives and manufacturing.
- Tracks and reports customer order delivery performance
- Expedites resolution of problems as required to assure on-time shipments.
- Coordinates delivery of raw materials and components with Purchasing
- Monitors dispatch and capacity reports and advises management of bottlenecks and delinquent order conditions
- Adjusts part planning and lead time parameters as required to provide optimum system performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will be able to display proficiency in the below tasks, as well as be expected to gain and excel in a variety of processes and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to focus on the task at hand and pay attention to details
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively and professionally interact with others in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Language Skills
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
Mathematical Skills
Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
