The role
As a Neurodiversity Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you will make a difference in supporting neurodiverse employees across Devonport.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with individuals who know or suspect they have a neurodivergent condition to help them understand their strength, challenges and more about their cognitive skills.
- Helping staff with neurodiverse screening software.
- Advise on reasonable adjustments.
- Aid internal communications on neurodiversity.
- Coach neurodivergent staff (training will be provided).
- Help staff with access to work grants.
- Support projects to help Babcock become more neuroinclusive.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Neurodiversity Advisor:
- Experience of working with individuals with neurodiverse needs.
- Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst accessing appropriate support when required
- Good organisational skills including time management and planning workload
Qualifications for the Neurodiversity Advisor:
- Vocational training within Neurodiversity
- IT User
- SharePoint Administrative experience.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
