Job Description Summary
The Digital Machining Solutions team is focused on delivering the next generation of digital engineering processes and machining environments. We provide CAD2CAM reviews, in-process models creation and updates, TeamCenter configuration, post-processor development, macros development, simulation development and process optimization to our customers – GE Aerospace manufacturing sites. This team member will be focused on CSE (simulation) for our customers; additionally, they will problem solve and support in the Macros, Post Processor and other areas as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Work on "brilliant factories" and other IT driven manufacturing systems. Individuals in this area have IT expertise but are specialized primarily in Manufacturing.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Collaborate to create accurate multi-axis CNC simulation code for NX Simulation.
- Understand and develop pathways to incorporate or utilize NX CNC simulation options such as Siemens VNCK, Run My Virtual Machine and Vericut.
- As an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills you will be expected to work with other team members to engineer systems that exceed the manufacturing engineers needs. Providing informal guidance to team members will be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Technology, Machining) + 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Technology, Machining

- Machine Kinematics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
