To support our Operations Department, for the soonest possible start we are looking for an
On-Site Shipping Representative.
Position Responsibilities:
- You check the daily shipping schedule and plan and prioritize the daily work schedule in consultation with other warehouse team members to meet customer delivery requirements.
- You monitor our inventory levels for specific logistics warehouses based on predefined inventory targets and established work procedures.
- You ensure compliance with all associated QM procedures.
- You take on regular interaction with internal and external customers.
- You work directly with sales to ensure the processing of orders and customer inquiries.
- You are responsible for setting and meeting target goals so that all customer orders are processed according to customer expectations.
- You participate in projects for continuous improvement and implementation of operational standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed your vocational training primarily as a specialist in warehouse logistics, warehouse operator, or similar.
- You have initial experience in a comparable position and industry.
- You are willing to work at the customer site in Amsterdam.
- You enjoy daily customer contact and working independently.
- You have good analytical skills and the ability to create relevant reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- You have very good English skills in both spoken and written form, as well as a good understanding of the Dutch language.
- You are proficient in using common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
