Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced,
Engineering Program Manager, for a 12-month contract assignment supporting major TVA non-nuclear capital projects. The projects will be coordinated through the Chattanooga office, approximately 50% remote / 50% office and site visits.
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (green card) is required.
Local or Regional candidates highly preferred.
- Target start date: 01/06/25
- Target W2 Pay Rate: Up to $76.00/hour (time and a half for overtime)
- Duration: 12 months

Project Overview:This position will be responsible for all engineering and technical oversight associated with assigned
non-nuclearcapital projects developed and executed by the Power Operations Generation Fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Development of engineering contracts, control of project design, compliance with TVA & industry standards, QA/QC, and management of engineering budgets and schedules.
- Leads engineering for scoping, study, design, procurement, construction, and ensures replication of engineering solutions.
- Establishes and communicates engineering priorities to contract partners, project team members, and management.
- Provides leadership and technical direction to the project design and execution team.
- Ensures the quality products from design firms, contractors, and OEM’s meet or exceed project requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field is required.
- 5+ years utility project manager experience, or equivalent functional area experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Requires knowledge of program management techniques and practical experience in project scoping and cost estimating.
- Project Management (PMP) certification would be a plus.
