Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day processing of monthly and off-cycle payrolls across Asia Pacific.
- Ensures accuracy and timely processing of payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately.
- Responsible for payroll process redesign to optimize improvement in accuracy, efficiency and customer service for the function.
- Lead, coach and guide the Asia payroll team including team development , processes and knowledge of the payroll legislations.
- Manage all adhoc payroll and Time / Attendance projects in the region
- Collaborate with payroll vendors to ensure compliance with regulations impacting the country's payroll.
- Accountability for quality control audit reviews for payroll processes
- Partner with the HR to ensure that all benefit and tax deductions and remittances are accurate and aligned with the local legislations.
- Effectively handle stakeholder inquiries within set SLA.
- Lead payroll projects to continually review and improve current processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for all audits including working on audit observations if any.
- Lead monthly in-country , regional governance calls with stake holders.

Qualification, Experience & Location
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 15 years of prior relevant payroll experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
- Must have end to end experience in Asia Pacific payroll
- Minimum 15 years of payroll experience, including 8 years of supervisory/ managerial experience.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
- Experienced with ADP global view or other Payroll providers. Experience in Workday an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound understanding of payroll accounting entries.
- Proven ability to form strong customer relationships, and good understanding of customer focus and service delivery.
- Experience in pay shared services/GCC is preferred.
