Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabin Repair Technician to join our ASSET (Aircraft Structure, Systems, Equipment, and Technology) department. The role focuses on the inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft cabin interiors to ensure passenger comfort and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on aircraft cabin components, including seats, panels, and in-flight entertainment systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify cabin-related discrepancies reported by crew or maintenance teams.
- Replace or refurbish worn-out interior parts, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address cabin modifications or upgrades.
- Maintain documentation of all repair and maintenance activities as per regulatory and company guidelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with aviation industry regulations.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years in aircraft cabin maintenance or a related field.
- Education: Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or relevant technical qualification.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft cabin systems and components.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (DGCA, EASA, or FAA).
- Hands-on experience with tools and techniques used in cabin repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in cabin maintenance or repair.
- Knowledge of interior design and cabin modification processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
