Responsibilities:
- Organization and supervision of the work of subordinate staff - people management:
- participation in creation of open organization culture that focuses on employees development,
- crisis management,
- cascading, providing ongoing feedback to employees and initiating a formal evaluation of their work as well as their engagement initiatives,
- supporting employees in their achievement and development, motivating them to effective cooperation as well as actively promoting safety and security culture among all employees,
- Managing daily production activities to ensure production efficiency, on cost, on time and on quality,
- Optimization of the production process to increase efficiency,
- Fostering continues improvement culture: implementing Lean manufacturing principles,
- Developing and implementing operational strategies that align with company objectives,
- Continuously improving OEE towards business strategic objectives to reach direct and indirect productivity,
- Forecasting production needs and planning resources accordingly,
- Setting production priorities in coordination with the planning departments,
- Proactively cooperating with supporting departments to ensure seamless workflow and implement continues improvement changes,
- Completion of assigned plans and achieve goals,
- Participation in preparation of the budget of production costs,
- Reporting of Operations departments results,
- Ensuring cooperation of all production areas in a way that enhance a work culture based on teamwork, quality and customer orientation as well as continuous improvement,
- Supervision of the training system in production area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment, ideally as Operations Manager or Plant Manager,
- Education – technical profile, master's degree in engineering or similar (bachelor’s degree is a minimum),
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement methods, approaches and tools (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TQM, Kaizen, 6 Sigma etc.), including strategic planning and projects management,
- Management skills: strong leadership and people focused personality, high communication skills and culture, strong organizational and problem solving skills, ability to build a team and work in a team, ability to manage risk, focus on achieving goals, delegating tasks, decision maker personality and approach, creativity, assertiveness, determination, duty, openness, independence, resistance to stress,
- Fluent knowledge of English and Polish - written and spoken,
- Solution hunter attitude rather than excuses researcher,
- Change management practical experience,
- Managing relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery.
