Synopsis
We are looking for a Training & Demand Manager to optimize and streamline Revenue Management processes and lead training for the Demand Management and Flight Analyst teams. This role focuses on enhancing tool usage (such as PROS RMA) and developing efficient and effective workflows. The specialist will also manage a small market portfolio (20% of the time) while designing training programs tailored to the needs of both Demand Managers and Flight Analysts.
Accountabilities
Process & Training Management (80%)Identify and monitor training needs in the department, and design, plan and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill the business needs.Continuously track and observe process outcomes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Revamp and refine training materials, processes, and best practices to ensure they are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs.Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy and demand-driven availability (DDA), ensuring optimal tool usage across the team.Design and manage workshops and hands-on training sessions to elevate team competencies and ensure best-in-class performance.Lead communication and sharing sessions with the staff to gather feedback and share relevant information. Support and train Flight team to help them meet revenue goals.Analyze performance data and recommend improvements for forecasting and demand management.Enhance collaboration between Flight Analyst and Demand Managers to create more opportunities.Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of processes and training, implementing adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement.Work with the Solutions & Innovation team to improve systems and tools.Ensure new tools and updates align with the needs of the Revenue Management team.Demand Management (20%)Revenue Optimization: Achieve monthly revenue targets and maximize network revenue. Accurate Forecasting: Forecast demand precisely across dimensions (Class, time, day, Origin/Destination), especially during peaks and special events.Peak Management: Maximize revenue during peak times and special events by leveraging demand fluctuations.Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust strategies.Performance Analysis: Analyze metrics, review performance, and make data-driven improvements. Ensure accurate data to optimize network results.Collaboration: Work closely with commercial teams (Network Planning, Sales, Digital Marketing, Alliances etc.) to align strategies with business goals.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent analytical experience, with strong knowledge of PROS systems (Origin & Destination) used by full-service carriers.
At least 7 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 7 years in a management role in an analytical or system and solutions environment within Airline Revenue Management/Planning.
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team to meet and exceed goals.
Training certification from an accredited association preferred.
