Assembly Team Leader is responsible for assisting Duty Supervisor in smooth functioning of individual shift. Have complete control of activities and discharge responsibilities in designated area as per set standards and leading a team assigned to him during the shift.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for proper pre-set of airline food products in designated area – First Class/Business Class/Economy.
- Proper implementation of procedures and process as per HACCP and Airline standards.
- Verification of all items pre-set as per flight schedule and requirements.
- Provide updated menu grid information, and complete all assigned reports.
- Maintain regular Correspondence with the inter departments i.e.Operation, Stores, Ware wash, Equipment packing & Kitchen
- Organise for daily requisition of stores material on a daily basis.
- Responsible for pre-setting of flights in allocated area as per service & load.
- Pick up meals and ensure Tray set of First Class, Business Class and Economy as per Airline Specifications and Schedule and also execution of Flights.
- Arrange the food items in the assembly chillier according to their expiry dates, dismantle the load drop, and make a wastage report accordingly.
- Ensure safe and proper handling of Customer Equipment’s and report to supervisor any irregularity and disparity noticed.
- Maintain the CCP (Critical Control Point) record as and when the flights are pre-settled.
- Assist in briefing, efficient usage of resources, reducing wastage and training subordinates in day to day activities.

Qualifications
High School Qualification/Vocational Qualification/Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 years of job-related experience.
Job Specific Skills:
Essential
- Basic knowledge of Airline catering
- Good spoken and written English
- Basic food safety and manual handling training
- Sound knowledge of GLP’s (Galley Loading Plans)
- Good knowledge of food and service structure
- Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of MS Office applications and Oracle
- Thorough knowledge of Flight catering operations
- Possess knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
Preferred
- Basic Firefighting procedures
- Basic First Aid Procedures
- Completion of Flight Catering Security Training
