Role Introduction
Report To: Assistant Manager Cargo Digital - Cargo System Development & Operations
As part of the Cargo Digital team, you are required to provide day to day support to our business operations in relation to Cargo Service Systems (CSP) and e-Freight operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional support, services and incident/problem management, act as an integral part of the functional support team on key Cargo applications and e-Freight process, such as Cargospot, E-freight, ONE Record. Respond worldwide queries in e-Freight operation and Cargospot usage
- Coordinate with relevant parties on functional issues on a day to day basis and help to restore operations to normal in case any issues encountered in system or in e-freight operation
- Focus on end to end solution and process and drive improvements in system usability and operation procedures, especially to have it lean and digitized whenever possible
- Conduct functional testing/UAT and manage defect remediation in key Cargo applications
- Work with business units and ensure timely review & reinforcement of best practice in e-Freight/ONE Record operation procedure and Cargospot usages
- Work with IT and system vendors to ensure root cause analysis are performed on the problems and escalation to relevant parties if the solution or bypass procedure cannot be provided according to the SLA
- Act as the system administrator and provide BAU services, such as maintain user access right, updating system parameters, creating new agents profile, etc
- Work with IT and system vendor to ensure the SLA are in place and system performance are properly monitored, and drive improvement according to operation needs
- Manager change request and projects, you will work with relevant team, such as IT, service provider, system vendor, etc, to come up with a recommendation for a revised procedure and/or a system change so as to fulfil user requirement
- Will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in participating Cargo Digital / IT projects
Requirements
- Tertiary education of above is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience if beneficial
- In depth understanding of Cargo end to end business operations and process
- Experience in using Cargospot or other Cargo management system
- Good understanding of E-freight procedure and experience in using Ezyfrieght will be an advantage
- Strong analytical, planning, problem solving and organizing skills with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency in IT tools, e.g. MS Office, MS Projects
