Tasks and Responsibilities
The Marketing Technology Digital Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing a centre of excellence for digital measurement and reporting across digital sales, online interactions driving in-store sales, Customer Service sales, and lead generation across global and local websites. The individual will help improve the efficiency of marketing operations, provide valuable insights through data analysis, enhance customer engagement through personalised marketing strategies and ultimately drive business growth. You will also be responsible for gathering and refining websites’ specifications and requirements based on technical and user experience needs from countries marketing teams, as well supporting with their deployment and testing. You will provide measurement support and expertise to digital marketing teams across various markets within DHL Express, with the goal of driving short-term sales acquisition from non-account customers.
·Setting up measurement and reporting on the current performance of digital marketing activities across multiple markets with different levels of maturity and varied methods of conversion tracking.
·Establishing and implementing a best-in-class consistent measurement framework to unify conversion tracking and provide a comprehensive view of the success of marketing campaigns and their overall impact on driving conversions.
·Collecting, organising, and maintaining large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including paid media platforms, CRM systems, financial records, and customer feedback.
·Creating and delivering clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools such Power BI, Looker Studio.
·Measuring Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), Cost Per Conversion (CPC), Cost Per Lead (CPL) and similar metrics related to short-term sales acquisition from non-account customers (consumer and business customers) and lead generation (business customers).
·Setting up and providing various dashboards and reports to management and European markets, using data to make recommendations and implement optimisations.
·Analysing websites and campaigns’ performance data to derive actionable insights and recommendations for optimising marketing strategies across our European markets.
·Maintaining robust data integrity and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulations. This includes conducting rigorous testing after website deployments, regular data audits and cleansing.
·Looking for new opportunities focused on revenue growth, loyalty and a better customer experience through marketing automation solutions.
·Discovering audiences through web analytics that can be segmented to ensure paid media budget and creative are optimal.
·Extracting information from Data Layer for use in reporting and media optimisation.
·Acting as a digital measurement consultant and coach, providing on-the-job capability building for local marketing teams and the broader DHL Express community.
·Collaborating with IT, digital services team and other relevant teams to troubleshoot issues and optimise marketing technology platforms.
·Working closely with Global Digital Marketing team and country marketing teams on continuous development, testing, and deployment of websites’ improvements.
·Working closely with country marketing teams and Digital Sales teams for continuous development and deployment of automation programs to grow and acquire customers.
·Development and adoption of the best-in-class measurement framework across European countries.
·Successful implementation and measurement of marketing campaigns by maintaining marketing dashboards and providing support for marketing technologies including website and CRM systems

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes
• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance measurement, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in digital marketing, such as Web Analytics, Google Ads or SEO certifications, would be advantageous.
• User Experience qualification – preferred but not essential
• Proficient in English; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
• Proficiency in JavaScript.
• Proficiency in web analytics platforms: Adobe and Google.
• Proficiency in tag management systems: Adobe and Google.
• Experience with Consent Management Platforms to ensure tags are deployed in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Hand-on experience in designing and extracting information from Data Layer.
• Proficiency in working with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies for lead generation, digital sales, in-store sales and Customer Service sales.
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and lead management systems.
• Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose data-driven solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Confident with the ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to other countries digital marketing managers and senior executives.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn.
• Results driven, experienced individual that can reliably meet goals & deadlines.
