Johnson Service Group is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a 6 month contract position.
Payrate starting at $17 per hour.
Lead daily inventory activities in the Vertical Lift Module storage units, while working with manufacturing to ensure parts availability for production and address any discrepancies. Work with ERP systems, while having knowledge of inventory control best practices. Provide necessary operations communication
- Maintain VLM inventory accuracy
- Assist with the daily cycle count inventory activities to ensure Inventory accuracy.
- Stock VLM
- Pick items for Production Orders timely
- Monitor progress of scheduled production orders for each day. Escalate any issues to the Production Manager.
- Communicate Material Transfer requirements for VLM and Production Orders to Warehouse personnel
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
- Strongly demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to work as a team member and independently.
- Demonstrated inventory control experience in leading process standardization to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience working with an ERP system (i.e. Syteline, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2+ years working within a Manufacturing and/or Warehouse operations environment.
- Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with SAP ERP system.
