The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Vertical Lift Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional in Mesa, Arizona to join our team as an
Experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
Boeing Mesa is part of the BDS Vertical Lift Division, manufacturing the most advanced military rotorcraft in the world and is renowned for leading-edge solutions that deliver proven capabilities. With 60 years of expertise and a global fleet over 2,500 strong — comprising the AH-6 Little Bird, AH-64 Apache, V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook aircraft and in-development entrants, including the MH-139A Grey Wolf — Boeing advances missions ranging from precision attack and reconnaissance to medium and heavy lift operations. As a key member of the HR Team, this role will be responsible for coaching and mentoring teammates to ensure our people strategies align with our business goals and enabling a culture of engagement by providing highly visible and employee facing support to 5,000 team members and managers.

This position will work closely with other key groups in the HR organization, namely HR Generalists’ (HRG) dedicated to Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Operations and Total Quality, the specialized HR Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) and other functions to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and managers. The team will be responsible for not only delivering HR products and services but also ‘on the floor’ interactions and interfacing with employees and managers in person to improve the employee experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
- Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
- Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
- Work closely with HR COE’s to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs
- Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
- Partner with leadership to provide guidance, leadership development, and sound advice on both strategy and day-to-day people operations
- Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
- Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert on majority of HR products and services
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Flexible work arrangements will be considered on an as-needed basis.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
- 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
- 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
- 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Human Resources certification
- 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
- Experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role
- Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with a high-impact communication style
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $81,600 - $110,400
