ORACLE Support Engineer – FINANCE DOMAIN
Cuernavaca, CDMX (Hybrid)
Position Summary
Thales is looking for an ORACLE Support Engineer who will be primarily responsible to support the Finance domain of Thales DIS Oracle.
In this position, you will be responsible to troubleshoot issues raised by users, monitor proactively the processes to avoid problems also closely work with our subcontractors to address problems.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Delivering Level 1 and Level 2 support for Oracle eBusiness Suite users globally.
- Engaging with users regularly to ensure satisfactory resolution of tickets.
- Coordinating and collaborating with both internal and external parties to enhance the functionality and processes related to DIS Global ERP (Oracle).
- Escalating any critical issues identified in GERP or associated systems to the management team.
- Continuously updating and maintaining knowledge and skills in Oracle ERP and DIS processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of support experience in relevant Oracle modules or database
- Good knowledge and understanding of financial processes (not only Oracle module)
- Experience in Oracle is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written. Second languages are a plus, especially French, Chinese, and Spanish.
- Good analytical skills to resolve problems/issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Ability to work with staff and users from various countries, background, and cultures.
