Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager to join Europe’s largest airline group!

The Deputy Compliance Monitoring Manager (DCMM) reports directly to, and deputises for, the Compliance Monitoring Manager and is responsible for the development of an effectiveness Compliance Monitoring System to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements, policies and procedures, and to request action where non-compliances are identified. DCMM is also responsible for ensuring that the compliance monitoring programme is continually reviewed and improved.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- The Deputy Compliance Manager will support, and deputise for, the Compliance Manager who is the Nominated Person approved by the Regulator, Transport Malta – Civil Aviation Directorate (TM-CAD), to manage the operator Compliance Monitoring System.
- Ensuring that the operator compliance monitoring programme is properly implemented, maintained and continually reviewed and improved.
- Ensuring that the activities of the operator are carried out properly under the supervision of the relevant head of functional area.
- Ensuring the independence of the auditing activities is observed.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in the preparation of quarterly meetings and be actively engaged in MEP activities.
- Continuous monitoring of all EASA regulations and Competent Authority issued documents for new publications/changes that may affect the operations of the operator.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining a continuous feedback system to the Accountable Manager with regards the performance and adequacy of the Compliance System ensuring that non-compliances are identified, root causes analysed, and the appropriate corrective/preventative actions are established.
- Ensuring that the operator compliance monitoring processes and procedures are aligned with Ryanair Group Policy
Requirements
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Eligibility to live and work in the EU
- Practical experience in an aviation compliance monitoring role
- Meets the requirements of EASA regulations AMC1 ORO.GEN.200(a)(6) and AMC1 CAMO.A.305(c)
- A relevant engineering degree is an advantage
- Strong MS Office, specifically Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external agencies
- Excellent numerical and organisational skills, with a high degree of attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise, delegate and work to deadlines
