The role
As a Storekeeper, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be supporting the team in forging new paths, contributing as the team grows through exciting, but sometimes challenging change.
Day-to-day, you will conduct inventory / stock checks and order any required stock. You will also issue items to soldiers, including clothing, weapons and spares for army vehicles.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and colleagues ensuring the smooth transfer of goods, to include issuing, receipt and returns.
- Ensuring the inventory systems are kept up to date, to ensure the smooth management of the stores functions
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the stores, and minimising risks
- Drive Land Rovers and operate forklift trucks
- Be responsible for the security and safe handling of Company and Authority equipment
This role is full time working 39 hours per week and is based on site at Bovington.
Essential experience of the Storekeeper
- Driving Licence
- Competent IT skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the customer
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting confidently with customers
- Good general health and safety awareness

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
