Job Description
The Concierge Manager Global Premium Yacht primary purpose is to create sales leads, closeness to yacht end customers and provide market intelligence. The candidate needs to be both technically adept and be able to sell (think Vorwerk Foletto door to door sales). The role will primarily be 90% in field – on board yachts, marinas, events, yacht shows, yacht management companies, shipyards, etc. A high level of autonomy to seek out new opportunities and contacts, as well as self-motivation are considered essential. The candidate needs to be able to have sufficient technical knowledge to understand issues, check alarm history and check the connectivity status, for example.
- Technical
- Check if any technical issues open – route via 1st Level/YCCC
- Check alarm history
- Update engine running hours
- Check if software update on CDB available
- Check connectivity on board
- Advice on operating and maintenance manuals, as well as fluids and lubes
- Check open campaigns, modifications and service information letters
- On board training & familiarisation
- Knowledge of Team Italia bridges
- Sales
- Generating leads for EPC, VCA and other service products for yachts e.g. chromed cylinder heads, on board spare parts kits, re-engineing etc.
- Keep customer contact & vessel data updated in master system CEC
- Update warranty data (via vessel handover document)
- Ambassador for mtu brand
- Engagement with key decision makers (crews, owners, designers/architects, yacht management companies, shipyards)
- Market intelligence & events/yacht shows

- Fluent in English & Italian (other languages preferred e.g. French, Spanish, German)
- High level of self-motivation and proactive
