One of five global hubs the Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. We are a leader in the development of innovative and quality software; this is an interesting role working on complex products and a great opportunity to work both on industry standard and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings.

Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle
Agile Development techniques such as Scrum
Iterative Development Process
Provide responsive design centred customer support for software solutions developed
Work with team members to find best practice solutions for software and processes

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Tertiary qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or other equivalent qualification
5+ years’ experience in commercial product development
Creative problem-solver, proficient at debugging and strong collaboration skills
Demonstrated commercial experience in delivering web-based solution to an exemplary production standard
Fundamental concepts of creating maintainable, testable software
Backend and/or frontend development and associated technologies
C#, JSON, Web Services (REST-compliant preferred)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS
React Native for Windows, Flutter/Dart is advantageous
