Role purpose:
- Your role will be responsible for driving efficiency, stability, security, standardisation and innovation across the finance and procurement applications.
- Delivering support and help to all users of SAP and associated finance applications to ensure the systems are both efficient and reliable for all end users.
- Working closely with the wider Applications team, as well as third party support partners, you will be looking at solutions to standardise and implement more efficient processes for the benefit of all users, as well as ensuring systems security and integrity.
- Predominantly with SAP, you will assist with the completion of ad-hoc projects related to processing and related interface systems, to ensure the users can get the best out of the applications and meet the ever-changing needs of the finance departments.
- The role will involve the development of ERP Roadmap, new solutions, as well as the creation and delivery of training plans and documentation.
- An in-depth knowledge of the SAP modules adopted within Swissport and a proven ability in the delivery of SAP technical solutions (customised forms, programs, interfaces etc) will be required.
What You'll Do:
Support Finance Applications (70% of time)
- Provide support to the user community on any issues raised including triage of helpdesk calls.
- Develop and adopt SLA with the finance community to ensure optimum issue resolution on a diverse range of applications including:
-SAP ECC 6 and SAP S/4Hana
-SAP DataSphere, Integration Suite and SAP Build
-SAP Signavio
-OneStream
-Zycus
- Liaise with Supplier Ecosystem support partners on any issues which require their expertise, including:
-Cognitus
-KaarTech
-Lemongrass
-Zycus
-Arcplace
-Amco
-Epi-Use Labs
- Work with business stakeholders to resolve new requirements or demands.
- Understand the root cause of issues raised and develop long term solutions to avoid repeat.
- Develop key users’ community to build the first line of defence for support on site.
Develop Finance Applications (30% of time)
- Work to continually improve the reliability and functionality of the finance applications whilst always reflective of cost vs benefit of anything the team may recommend.
- Take an active role in both the supplier and user communities for the applications, ensuring we are aware of the latest developments and are seen to influence any application developments to the betterment of our users.
- Ensure security of data and overall applications architecture is at the forefront of any new changes and designs.
- Assist the user community ensuring creation and cessation of users is undertaken efficiently and the access rights to the application are correctly controlled and authorised.

Expertise & knowledge
- Systems and process analysis
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 Hana
- Change Management
- Ability to translate technical requirements to the business and ultimately bridge the gap between technical and business users using appropriate language.
Technology
- Understanding of the cloud delivery of SAP, whether that be Private or Public model
- Understanding middleware solutions as well modern interface methods (e.g. API’s)
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
- Appropriate IT Qualifications and experience
- SAP Certifications in the areas covered in above section preferred
