Role Introduction
Reports to: Assistant Manager Cargo Sales HK
The Hong Kong Cargo Sales team plays a significant role in bringing key revenue to the airline with a focus on expanding capacity and developing sales in the region. You will be responsible for driving the revenue of assigned sales area, and achieve the sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue target with consideration of yield & space optimization, fair market share, allotment utilization and overbooking strategy and implementation of effective sales tactics
- Account Management and New Business Development, maximizing revenue from available space in the assigned sales area by seizing all the market opportunities to fill our freighters and passenger flights
- Follow-up from inquiries to payment process for charters, monitor agent performance, including allotment utilization and contract management and address aftersales service issues promptly
- Expand new business opportunities with existing appointed CX agent under the assigned sales area
- Oversee special product sales and manage assigned key accounts to maximize revenue at both the route and account levels
- Maintain active communication with trade partners regarding updates on cargo services, including changes to acceptance conditions, safety, and security policies.
- Market analysis and sales strategies updates on market, competitors and agents; analysis on market situation and recommendation on short-to-medium term sales tactics
- Refer latest market demand by applying different sales strategies by applying VIP rate or special discount and ensure CX market position.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for sales strategies management and meet sales force KPIs, create rate sheets and manage EQ/ad-hoc requests, coordination with finance team on billing matters
- Collaborate with the upstream quality team to ensure smooth implementation or processes, engage in and support new initiatives and projects, such as Click and Ship, solutions, revamp, JBA product extensions, and CSD-related projects
Requirements
- University degree preferably in business related subjects is a plus
- Minimum 3 years air cargo and/or airline experience preferably in commercial related fields such as sales/corporate sales, marketing, and distribution with solid managerial exposure
- Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua are considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good business acumen with sound analytical and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of air cargo sales/service/operations/systems is preferred
- Experience in commercial negotiations is definitely a plus
