Commercial Contracts Manager

Commercial Contracts Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Commercial Contracts team, ensuring that tailored, valid contracts are held with all applicable Third-Party Group Handling service partners, throughout the
Jet2.com network.
What will you do in the role?
As Our Commercial Contracts Manager, You Will Manage Service Providers In Accordance With Agreed Terms And Act As The Primary Contract Liaison Point For a Number Of Ground Service Partners. You Will Also
- Oversee the compilation and issue of all RFP documentation, collating responses and reviewing comparison documentation ensuring that business critical decisions are made on an informed basis
- Draft, negotiate and execute contracts with ground handling service providers
- Ensure all agreements and service specifications are tailored by location, to comply with internal stakeholder requirements
- Maintain oversight of a comprehensive database of contracts, renewal dates, and performance metrics
- Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders in the effective management of suppliers, including regular engagement and ensuring the review of KPI targets have been undertaken, escalating contractual disputes where required
- Provide regular updates relating to budget risks and anticipated inflationary cost impacts, where identified
- Be present on behalf of the business at industry annual conferences and events, maintaining relationships with existing and potential partners
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
- Proven track record of experience in Airline Operations, procurement, or contract management, preferably with a focus on ground handling services or working with SGHA contracts
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and performance data
- Confidence to represent the Company and engage with suppliers from around our network both face-to-face and virtually
