What you’ll do:
- Develop Electric Engine software test infrastructure, Requirements verification strategies, test plans and test procedures
- Run Electric Engine software verification testing on various test setups
- Perform software regression testing and be the ultimate gatekeeper of electric engine software release to aircraft subsystem testing and aircraft system integration testing
- Perform test scheduling by prioritizing the tests to ensure Electric Engine software release stays on schedule
- Perform requirements-based verification of high level and low level software requirements
- Create high-level and low-level test frameworks that allow complex verification of real-time inputs and outputs
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop, verify, validate software for complex hardware/software systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SW release processes to increase safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with engine software development team and Engine test team
What you need:
- 6+ years of experience in a related field
- At least a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with full lifecycle safety critical software complying with safety standards like DO-178C or ISO 26262
- Experience developing verification strategies and test environments, including hardware in the loop, software in the loop, and processor in the loop
- Experience building efficient automation test frameworks from a wide range languages and tools
- Familiarity with debuggers and lab instruments
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working on software for Electric Engine systems
- Experience with Veristand and other National Instruments products
- Fluency with widely used scripting languages like Python

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
