Job Purpose
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards comply with FSSAI/HACCP guidelines. Help develop and monitor quality management systems for Food & Beverage (F&B) services, conduct audits, and ensure top quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define Quality Standards (20%)
- Assist in developing food safety and hygiene standards based on regulations and Airline’s requirements.
- Help update audit processes based on quality standards and customer feedback.
2. Conduct and Lead Audits (70%)
- Perform audits of F&B service providers across different locations.
- Ensure F&B providers use Six Sigma to improve service quality.
- Record audit activities, analyze complaints, and identify root causes.
- Communicate gaps with service providers and help resolve quality issues.
3. Business Management and Reporting (10%)
- Assist in preparing and sharing audit reports with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with F&B providers and other teams for technical support and feedback.
Skills & Qualities Required
- Food Hygiene Expertise and understanding of safety standards.
- Stakeholder & People Management skills for effective teamwork and communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail and strong Audit Skills.
Key Performance Indicators
- Reporting Management: Ensure audits are completed on time and to standards.
- People Management: Support team training and evaluations.
- Quality Measures: Track food recalls, SLA non-compliance, and regulatory issues.
Key Interfaces
- Internal Teams: Work with F&B Services, Customer Experience, and other airline units.
- External Teams: Collaborate with F&B service providers and stakeholders.
Education & Experience
Education:
B.Tech (or equivalent) in Food Technology.
Experience:
- At least 5 years in food operations, with 2 years in lead auditing.
- ISO 22000 OR FSSC 22000 OR HACCP lead auditor certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
