Job Title - Production Planning Manager
Location – Shamshabad, (near Hyderabad Airport)
1. **Strategic Planning and Scheduling:**
- Drive resource utilization, efficiency, and productivity.
- Define success through the lens of customer satisfaction.
- Implement dynamic gate scheduling to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).
2. **Operational Excellence:**
- Commit to MRO product delivery Turnaround Time (TAT) goals.
- Continuous process improvement through daily management cadence to monitor SQDCPI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Inventory) metrics.
3. **Production Planning:**
- Accountable for safe, compliant, and efficient planning and scheduling of customer engine maintenance demands.
- Formulate and cascade daily, weekly, and yearly induction/delivery plans while analyzing demand and capacity requirements.
- Schedule appropriate task cards for all shop visit activities at engine, module, and component levels.
4. **Leadership and Collaboration:**
- Lead daily management of Level 2/3 SQDCPI for shop product line planning aligned with the QR/QC principles.
- Balance customer induction and delivery priorities with global business S&OP targets.
- Manage skilled resource allocation based on gate management strategies.
- Maintain excellent relationships with internal/external customers and stakeholders to meet planned shop output.
5. **Process and Performance Management:**
- Liaise with departments (Operations, Materials, Engineering, Quality, etc.) for smooth execution of work scope TATs.
- Set individual PDR objectives and manage staff performance, including coaching and development.
- Monitor TAT milestones, activate on-time problem solving, and maintain accurate gate tracker status.
- Identify opportunities for digital planning tools to improve processes and execute their implementation.
- Drive accountability for achieving KPI targets and other business metrics.
**Qualifications**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering or ICAO Type II License.
- **Experience:**
- 10+ years in engine Part 145 MRO operations and/or hands-on production planning experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in team leadership roles.
- **Skills and Expertise:**
- Subject matter expertise in MRO planning principles.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and technical publications.
- Proven ability to deliver customer TAT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of Lean tools.
- Excellent communication and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills.
