Norse is looking for a B787/T1000 Powerplant Engineer to join our team.
The role focuses on supporting an on-wing and off-wing maintenance of Engines, Nacelles and APUs. It’s a great opportunity to work on the state-of-the-art Aircraft/Engine with a great technical team, including P145, based in Oslo Airport, and attend table inspections during shop visit.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide cost effective technical support to maintenance and operation of Norse B787/T1000 engine, APU and Nacelle.
- Assist technical, commercial, flight operations and other departments on areas of expertise.
- Perform Engine and APU Health Monitoring on regular basis and propose required maintenance action for troubleshooting.
- Investigate in-service events, delays and technical problems and implement corrective action programs with the aim of improving reliability.
- Review and approve Engine and APU maintenance work scopes by ensuring compliance with OEM work scope planning guides and other contractual obligations.
- Perform short-term and long-term fleet planning to ensure Aircraft availability by managing removal plans and shop visits.
- Assess ADs and OEM Technical Publications (SB, SIL, AOW , NTO, etc.) and produce business cases for compliance.
- Manage and participate in special projects and assist with continuous improvement of technical procedures.
- Liaise with OEMs, MROs and Lessors.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- BSc in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Powerplant Engineer and at least 2 years on B787/T1000
- AMOS experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of engine maintenance and contracts.
- Experience on shop visit table inspection, lease delivery and redelivery.
