Maintenance Operation Planner is an important position in the Technical Operations department and integral to not only Maintenance Operations but Operations as a whole. Duties and responsibilities
- Assure that all maintenance accomplishments are done in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop short term maintenance plan, and issue short time planning information and prepare work to the customers contracted MROs
- Rotate aircraft schedule according to operational and maintenance requirements
- Check that all maintenance and modification are performed, and that aircraft is released for service.
- Establish communication with contracted MROs to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed according to the developed maintenance plan.
- Based on the maintenance plan, verify in cooperation with the Procurement department that materials, components and tools required for scheduled maintenance work are ordered as required.
- Follow up material plan for open defect of incoming aircraft to check
- Review performed work to make sure that all planned maintenance and deferred defects are assessed and planned
- Ensure all performed work is updated in the MMS.
- In this position you’ll be working a shift rotating between daytime, evening and weekend work followed by an off period.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Engineering degree and/or Part 66 license, or relevant work experience in Aviation.
- The ability to work as part of a team in a sometimes fast paced environment and adaptability to short notice changes.
- Good English, and preferably, a desire to learn Norwegian.
- A valid work permit for Norway
Beneficial:
