We are currently looking for an IT Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the IAM (Identity Access Management) Analyst, you will be responsible for data governance life cycle management, auditing, and communicating policies and procedures. The IAM Analyst helps develop workflows, configure systems, and optimize processes, as well as plans, designs, implements, and tests IAM systems. They work with other teams to manage the access environment and identify opportunities to implement IAM. The position reports to the Director, IT Infrastructure and will be located in Toronto, ON. What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate, report & take appropriate actions on various key IAM controls across the company and its subsidiaries.
- Documentation of processes and procedures as per corporate standards.
- Look into innovative ways to solve existing problems using data driven analytical mindset.
- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners.
- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks to analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate.
- Be able to support Access Request Support team for specific initiatives, as needed.
- Generate & maintain periodic and ad-hoc team productivity metrics/reports.
- Implement and enforce access controls, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Provision, deprovision, and modify user access rights in line with role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Monitor access logs and resolve escalated issues related to access management.
- Maintain and manage IAM systems, such as directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD).
- Ensure integration of IAM tools with other IT systems and platforms.
- Conduct regular audits to verify user access rights and address any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI, PIPEDA, etc.).
- Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes, standards, and guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve IAM-related data governance incidents in collaboration with the Operations team.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Identify opportunities to automate IAM workflows and reduce manual efforts.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new IAM tools and technologies.
- Work with IT, data governance, and business teams to manage onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
- Provide end-user support and training for IAM tools and practices.
What You’ll Need:
- The role requires a critical thinker as decisions need to be made consistently throughout the process.
- Experience is required with Data Governance Management, understanding requirements, requests, data ownership, business concepts and Problem Solving. Creating strategies, policies, and procedures to manage data and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Certified Information Systems Data Governance Professional is an asset.
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) is an asset.
- ITIL or similar process management certifications is an asset.
- 1-4 years total work-related experience.
