Based in Luton, our small, enthusiastic team travels throughout Europe to find, preserve, and provide outstanding workspaces.
With a wide-ranging property portfolio that includes head offices, training sites, crew bases, regional offices, aircraft hangars, and maintenance facilities, the Facilities Coordinator will play a crucial role in expanding easyJet's estate to support the company's vision.
What You'll Be Doing
To assist the team with their wide-ranging property portfolio, which includes head offices, training sites, crew bases, regional offices, aircraft hangars, and maintenance facilities. This role will initially be on a 12-month contract and will work alongside the existing property and change team.
The property portfolio poses key challenges for easyJet in terms of maintaining existing facilities and facilitating the expansion required by the business to support colleagues, third-party suppliers, and contractors in office and airport environments. The Facilities Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting, undertaking, and maintaining projects for new initiatives, ultimately enhancing the business's performance in delivering its company vision.
In an assistant function, the facilities Coordinator will take direct responsibility for the delivery of property and facilities management tasks as identified. This will include assisting Property & Change Managers with day-to-day operations and support with implementing and developing property and facilities projects, tendering and procuring works and contracts, overseeing and assisting with service contracts, ensuring compliance with health and safety, emergency procedures, and safe working practices, assisting with regular inspections of service contracts, and managing purchase orders and invoices in a timely manner.
