Associate Tool and Fixture Specialist to join our dynamic team in
Sylmar, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Works under supervision with limited understanding of the job
- Performs simple tool set up activities
- Follow detailed verbal or written instructions to make minor repairs
- Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools
- Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required
- Provides tooling support to other organizations
- Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design
- Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Basic computer experience and competency
- Experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6+ hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in processes, geometric dimensioning & tolerances, and machining capabilities of different types of materials
- Experience working with close tolerances .0001”
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

Summary pay range: USD $42,500 – $57,500
