Job overview and responsibilities
The Staff Representative for Human Resources Brazil supports the HR department in ensuring an efficient business operation. The HR Representative have both administrative and strategic responsibilities in all areas of labor relations, such as administration of employees' personal information files, generate analytical reports, control and manage positions and salaries, administration of insurance policies, maintain relationships with the unions, among others administrative duties as assigned by department leadership.
- Assist internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests from employees, supporting management and/or employees on local labor law information, company policies and procedures, conduct, performance issues and disciplinary actions
- Administration of staff contracts and maintain both hard and digital accurate copies of employees’ records
- Generate and manage analytical HR data reports and presentations
- Administration of wages and salaries, supporting compensation and benefits divisions
- Health care support and insurance polices administration
- Support all recruitment and hiring practices, new employee orientation, promotions and transfers, and exit processes
- Assist and work in partnership with the Financial ( Payroll) and Occupational Health and Safety Divisions
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field
- 2-4 years' experience in HR
- Experience with MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Knowledge of local labor laws
- Observe discretion and confidentiality as required due to the nature of the information handled
- Service oriented, good interpersonal skills, proactive and ability to deal with internal customers
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Additional HR training or experience is a plus
